Preparation
1. Seal the surface with Multi-purpose sealer and allow to dry. Sand lightly and remove dust.
2. Basecoat the star, both sides and edges, with AB.
3. Trace the pattern onto tracing paper.
4. Transfer to the surface using transfer paper and the stylus. If painting both sides of the star reverse the line drawing on one side.

Painting
This is a little monochromatic scene with an accent of yellow. The colour will be built up gradually, applying a coat of Faux Glazing Medium between layers.

  1. Using mini fan, basecoat sky area again with AB. While wet, pull in WP with horizontal feathery strokes.
  2. Highlight the outline of the stable with WW to give shape. Add texture to the walls with WP. The last highlight will be WP. Shade with Payne’s Grey. Add Payne’s Grey line work.
  3. Basecoat the manger PG. Add WP highlights. The “halo” is WP. Tint Pineapple.
  4. Palm trees: using the liner, paint trunk and palm fronds with PG. While still wet, highlight with WP. (Do one tree at a time.)
  5. Highlight ground below stable in the same manner as the sky was done.
  6. Sheep: Basecoat PG. While wet, stipple with WW + WP [1-1] Tint PA
  7. Using the mini fan, add streaks pulling in from the edges of the star points with PG.
  8. Star Glow: Dampen area and add line work with WP + WW. Tint PA. This will need to be done 2 or 3 times. Strengthen some rays with WP.
  9. The star at the bottom is basecoated AB. While wet pull in from the edge using the mini fan with WW + WP. Tint with PA Paint the word Peace in the center

Finishing
Brush the outer star and small star with Star Lite topcoat. Varnish the inner star with Tripple Thick Gloss Glaze for a glossy tough finish. Hang with a ribbon and Enjoy!
